TYPO3 14 LTS, the next major long-term support version of the enterprise CMS, was released in April 2026. This version will receive updates until June 2029, making it a solid foundation for your website.

For operators of older TYPO3 websites, this release is particularly relevant: TYPO3 12 reached its end of life on April 30, 2026 and is no longer maintained by the community on a regular basis. Projects still running TYPO3 12 should now be actively evaluated, especially with regard to security, PHP compatibility, extensions, and long-term maintainability.
